An abstract summarizing any problem that relates to cardiovascular disease whether it is: Clinical, Basic or Population Science.

• Abstract Must be Original Scientific Research
• Abstract Must not have been Published Previously
• Observational case reports are discouraged

• Award Amount: $50,000 per fellow (for a total of two fellows).
• Purpose: To support the cost of EP subspecialty training for the July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 academic year.
• Note: The $50,000 award is intended to provide partial support toward the overall cost of EP fellowship training only. Funds to be disbursed directly to training program earmarked for the awardee.

This prestigious event celebrates excellence in cardiovascular research and honors the legacy of Dr. Jay Brown, a stalwart in cardiology whose contributions have significantly advanced the field.

The competition invites researchers and clinicians outside the United States to showcase their groundbreaking work in cardiovascular science. With a focus on innovation, rigor, and impact, the Dr. Jay Brown Best Abstract Competition aims to recognize and promote research that addresses critical issues in cardiovascular health, especially those affecting underrepresented populations.
