A new Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Editorial Board was announced in the American Heart Association’s second annual Disparities issue in the journal Circulation. Eldrin F. Lewis, MD, MPH, Khadijah Breathett, MD, MS, Walter Clair, MD, MPH, and Henry Okafor, MD are among those appointed to serve on the board. Dr. Lewis has been appointed Chair, AHA Journals Scientific Publishing Committee. The role of the EDI Editorial Board is to facilitate more and better science in the health equity and diversity space and increase representation throughout the editorial, author and reviewer pool.
