On Juneteenth — the heart of the festival weekend — the Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC) will be out in the community all day at the City of Grambling’s Juneteenth Heritage Festival, with a free health screening exhibit in partnership with Care Access and a place in the iconic Juneteenth Parade.
Stop by the ABC and Care Access exhibit at the Village of Grambling for a free health risk assessment and information about the Cardiology Deserts Campaign.
Then at 5 PM, look for ABC in the Juneteenth Parade — and watch for our car tossing peppermint treats to the crowd!Part of ABC’s national Cardiology Deserts Campaign, these Spirit of the Heart events are held in conjunction with the City of Grambling’s Juneteenth Heritage Festival and the We Are One Grambling All School Reunion. The ABC Cardiology Deserts Campaign is supported, in part, by Amgen, Novo Nordisk, Novartis, and AstraZeneca.
