Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC) Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Fellowship Support

Description

Award Amount: $50,000 per fellow (for a total of two fellows).
Purpose: To support the cost of EP subspecialty training for the July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 academic year.
Note: The $50,000 award is intended to provide partial support toward the overall cost of EP fellowship training only. Funds to be disbursed directly to training program earmarked for the awardee.

Eligibility

• Completion of a cardiology fellowship.
• Active membership in the Association of Black Cardiologists
• Commitment to enhancing diverse representation and improving care for all populations.
• Intention to pursue or secure placement in an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program (including candidates who did not match in the initial cycle)

The Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC) is pleased to announce a Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Fellowship support opportunity funded by Johnson & Johnson MedTech. ABC is offering two (2) awards of $50,000 each to support fellows pursuing subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology. This initiative aims to advance diverse representation in the field of cardiac electrophysiology and promote healthcare excellence and advocacy for all populations.

Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit the following documents:
1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
2. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation (one must be from the current or recent Program Director.)
3. Personal Statement outlining your interest in EP and your commitment to improving diversity and healthcare excellence.
4. One of the following:

• Proof of Acceptance or Enrollment in an accredited EP Fellowship Program, or
• Statement of Intent to secure placement in an accredited EP Fellowship Program
