Communities disproportionately impacted by cardiovascular disease continue to face barriers to affordable care, clinical innovation, and emerging cardiovascular technologies. Limited access to coverage, preventive services, clinical trials, and new treatment options contributes to ongoing disparities in cardiovascular outcomes and disease management. 

ABC's Position: 

The Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC) believes every patient should benefit from advancements in cardiovascular prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care regardless of race, income, or geography. 

ABC supports efforts to expand access to breakthrough cardiovascular treatments, emerging technologies, clinical research, and affordable, high-quality care. Recognizing that access to innovation remains a critical component of improving cardiovascular outcomes, ABC continues to promote policies that reduce barriers to care, strengthen access to new technologies and therapies, and improve outcomes in underserved communities.
