ABC Educational Resources
Our mission is to Champion the Elimination of Cardiovascular Disparities through Education, Research, and Advocacy
Founded in 1974, the Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc., (ABC) is a nonprofit organization with an international membership of 2,500 health professionals, lay members of the community (Community Health Advocates), corporate members, and institutional members. The ABC is dedicated to eliminating the disparities related to cardiovascular disease in all people of color.

Family Heartbeats Unmasked
Affecting over one million people in the U.S., FH is often underdiagnosed and undertreated, particularly in Black and other minority communities. The personal experiences shared through this campaign, coupled with educational resources and physician-led PSAs, highlight the importance of knowing your family health history and the life-saving potential of early diagnosis and treatment. Through this campaign, the ABC seeks to empower communities with knowledge and tools to combat FH and reduce cardiovascular disparities.
